Managing Director, Head

Ramsey is an entrepreneur with a passion for innovation. After graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York, he established his own fashion business, building a successful reputation servicing high profile clients, before stepping into the digital sector to pursue his interest in emerging technologies.

In 2000, he set up Head London with a mission to bring together the very best designers and technologists under one roof, in order to create long term business solutions and engaging user experiences.

Ramsey is a firm believer in thinking outside of the box, no more so than when he's asked to review a client's online business case and objectives. It's an approach to problem solving that he's successfully iterated across his team at Head London, which has led to the creation of new business models and significant increases in growth for the agency's clients on many occasions.

Ramsey is passionate about the business he's in. A regular industry speaker, he was invited to speak at the London Business School's Technical Summit, where he presented a new model for monetising social media platforms, and won a place on this year's UK Digital Mission to New York, as one of the UK's top digital ambassadors, where he addressed various panels on cross border investment opportunities.

Head

Head specialises in creating long term sites that are built to last, using robust, scalable technologies, and focus on the need to get the user experience right every time.

Their strengths lie in user experience, social media (based on very specific strategies and immersive study), and innovation. The importance to innovation is highlighted by Head Labs, a facility that compliments regular client work and allows the agency to learn about new technologies, new consumer behaviour and new business models in a free thinking environment and by actively ‘doing’.

Head’s own ideas and technologies have led to successful JV arrangements with a number of companies. Far from being mutually exclusive, they regards client work and the work they do on their own account as synergistic, leading to shared benefits and value creation.
