IT/IS Project Manager with portal focus, Alfa Laval

Pernilla's focus in the recent two years has been the re-launch of Alfa Laval's public website. The new website was migrated into MOSS 2007 and launched in May 2008. Pernilla has specialized in the knowledge and complexities around localization and globalization and has been the driving force behind the development and implementation of the local country sites.

Pernilla has a background as an IT project manager and has worked with business process improvements, implementation, roll-outs and user training in various environments, such as ERP, CRM, Lead management and the web.

With a base in Philadelphia, USA, Pernilla frequently travels back and forth to corporate headquarter in Lund, Sweden.

Alfa Laval is a global provider of specialized products and engineered solutions. Alfa Laval is a global market leader with its three key technologies - Centrifugal Separation, Heat Transfer and Fluid Handling.

The company helps their customers to heat, cool, separate and transport products such as oil, water, chemicals, beverages, foodstuff, starch and pharmaceuticals.

The company was founded in 1883 and today has almost 10,000 employees, which sells Alfa Laval products in approximately 100 countries.

Implementing a multi-national public website on MOSS

In May 2008 Alfa Laval launched their new public website on the MOSS platform. The launch included the global website and 60+ local country sites.
